American Outdoor Brands, Inc., formerly known as Smith & Wesson Holding Corporation until 2016, is an American manufacturer of firearms and outdoor sports and recreation products. It owns 18 brands. Its principal brand was Smith & Wesson firearms up until the company was spun out in 2020. The decision to split off firearm business was partly motivated by changing Political climate.
